Exterior Design

The most noteworthy change in the 2023 Audi RS3 exterior design is the wider body emphasized by the large honeycomb grilles at the front and rear and eye-catching air outlets behind the front wheel arches. The available Matrix LED headlights also feature a unique motorsport-inspired checkered flag design which lights up while driving. At the rear, you'll find an RS exhaust system with two large oval tailpipes.

2023 Audi RS 3 Colors

The 2023 Audi RS 3 has eight exterior color options: Kyalami Green, Turbo Blue, Kemora Gray, Mythos Black, Glacier White, Tangor Red, Python Yellow, and Daytona Gray. Two of the exterior color options, Kyalami green (seen in the photos on this page) and Kemora gray, are RS-exclusive colors. The roof is also available in a contrasting Brilliant black. Individual features such as the honeycomb grille are available in either a matte or high-gloss finish.

The 2023 Audi RS 3 offers a genuine racing feel throughout the interior. From the race-inspired "RS Runway" RPM display in the 12.3-inch Audi virtual co*ckpit plus to the carbon trim, RS sport seats with contrasting honeycomb stitching and flat-bottom RS Sport multifunctional leather steering with high-quality die-cast zinc paddle shifters, you'll never feel bored behind the wheel.

Features & Technology

The motorsport-themed design of the exterior and interior continues into the advanced technology features. The Audi virtual co*ckpit plus can display g-forces, lap times, acceleration from 0-60 mph, and even quarter and eighth-mile times. The 10.1-inch infotainment touch display in the center console includes what is referred to as the "RS Monitor," which displays the coolant, engine, and transmission oil temperatures as well as tire pressures. An available head-up display projects relevant information like a shift indicator light onto the windshield in the driver's direct line of sight.

Performance

The new Audi RS 3 is no slouch when it comes to performance. Its 2.5-liter 5-cylinder turbocharged engine produces a whopping 401 horsepower and, paired with the standard seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, helps propel the RS 3 from 0-62 mph in only 3.8 seconds. With the available RS Dynamic package and ceramic brakes, the top speed reaches 180 mph (up from the standard 155 mph).

The new standard RS Torque Splitter increases the drive torque to the outer rear wheel with the higher wheel load during dynamic driving, which significantly reduces the tendency to understeer. The standard RS sports suspension features newly developed shock absorbers and a valve system specific to the RS 3.

RS Driving Modes

The RS 3 features three unique RS driving modes: RS Individual, RS Performance, & RS Torque Rear. The new RS Torque Rear mode works with the torque splitter allowing for controlled drifts on closed-off tracks. The RS Performance mode, created specifically for the racetrack, utilizes a specific engine and transmission configuration and is precisely tailored to the optional Pirelli P Zero "Trofeo R" semi-slick tires. RS Individual allows you to set vehicles settings to match your specific racing style.
