Ingredients for chocolate chip cookie dough
- All Purpose Flour: Flour will need to be heat treated in the oven to kill bacteria. *see notes below*
- White and Brown Sugar: The combination of white and brown sugar gives this cookie dough the perfect flavor.
- Unsalted Butter: Using unsalted butter will allow you to control the salt content in your recipes.
- Vanilla: Use pure vanilla or vanilla extract.
- Milk: Milk is used to keep the cookie dough moist. Water or almond milk also work well.
- Salt: By adding salt you will bring out the sweet flavors in the cookie dough.
- Chocolate Chips: I prefer the mini chocolate chips, but regular will also work.
*for funfetti sugar cookie dough you will also need almond extract and sprinkles. For the peanut butter cookie dough you will also need peanut butter and Reese’s pieces. Omit the mini chocolate chips for these recipes.
