The Way Home: Season 2 | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Kristen Maldonado Pop Culture Planet Not only do the mysteries keep you hooked, but the actors bring so much of themselves to their roles and really get to the heart of the story. This underrated gem deserves all the love as they continue to blow our minds each season. Michael H Season1 was reallyyy good..season 2 is kinda good but annoying because I want to see how the boy does going back to modern time Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review Chas J They ruined a great show this season. Season 1 was great, heartwarming and interesting. Season 2 is drab, boring and so slowly paced. Literally nothing has happened the entire season. The characters, particularly Kat, who has been the primary character this season have become annoying and ruined the show. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Sarah B Starting watching this show an so far I'm Loving it. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Christine C Anyone else feeling frustrated that we have not yet seen Jacob? I used to eagerly wait for Sunday nights during season 1. Now I feel like each episode in Season 2 leaves us unfilled with a cliche "cliff hanger" as if the writers were told in screenwriting 101 to end each episode with a question. Yet this feels like, "times up for this episode - drop in a random question at the last minute." And we've been chasing Jacob since season 1. I don't know how much longer I can hang in there being teased. It's starting to feel suffocating. Regardless of what else happens in the episode, I feel like I'm just waiting to see Jacob and it's getting annoying. The Way Home used to be a refreshing escape from the chaos of the world. It used accurate time travel theories, like the theory that time loops automatically correct themselves such as Kat and Colton in season 1. Kat has been chasing Jacob for 4 episodes now. Stop stringing us along. If this were a relationship, we'd have broken up with you by now!! Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Sai M Wow, this is such an amazing and gripping show. It's one of the most enthralling things about family dynamics and healing set to the most unexpected to back drops in the time travel elements that come to play. As you travel through time back to the early 2000s and learn more about the Landry family it becomes a thrilling sleuth tale that makes you eager to see different relationships overcome while giving insight into mysteries that have yet to be fully explained and how they played a role in the various grief process setbacks that present themselves to each family member through different types of losses, and triumphs alike. This is a must-watch series.
